Whose idea was this, anyway?

Why we started this whole thing

Our Story

In 2017 Jessica Andrew started a solo counseling practice in a local church. She quickly discovered there was a profound need for mental health services in our community. In December of that year she and Isaac sketched out a business plan on the back of a children’s pizza menu and six months later opened the doors of the North Albany Wellness Center! Isaac transitioned from teaching school bands to managing the clinic full time, and it continues to grow!

In December 2021 we opened our second location near the Albany Hospital. Located on 8th Street, it was actually originally designed for counseling!

Our Mission

North Albany Wellness Center exists to help people improve their mental, physical and spiritual selves through effective and compassionate mental health counseling. We create a supportive work culture and provide opportunities for continual growth and self-care.
